Top Tip 2
Your “healthy” meals might be too light for your body
Many women are eating meals that look healthy salads, soups, lighter options, but aren’t actually keeping them full.
What’s often missing isn’t willpower, it’s enough substance. Meals that are too light, especially low in protein and carbs, leave your body under-fuelled, which leads to grazing, cravings, and that “I’ve no control in the evening” feeling.
Try this: take one of your usual meals and build it up. Add protein if it’s missing. Include carbs instead of avoiding them. Add a dressing or fats to make it more satisfying.
For example, a salad becomes much more effective when you add chicken or salmon, some potatoes or grains, and olive oil.
If your meal doesn’t keep you full and satisfied for a few hours, it’s not doing its job.
